"The teachers of art will not be employed"

Angela Kairuki said today in parliament and demanded that every school will be able to get art teachers according to their needs


"Research conducted by the Office of the President Local Government in 2015/2016 revealed the existence of surplus teachers of the humanities about 7463 in secondary schools, due to this situation the government continues the practice of dividing those teachers or 'redeploy' based on balanced and the real needs of the teachers of the arts for all local authorities to be able to obtain all school teachers of the humanities rather than hire new teachers "-said Angela Kairuki

Besides of that Kairuki  said the government continues to employ staff with diverse backgrounds where in the 2016/2017 financial year more than nine thousand servants employed in government.

"In the financial year 2016/17 a total of 90,721 public servants have been hired to focus on the priorities and needs of each employer in the financial year 2017/18 the government expects to employ 52 436 staff of various sectors based on national priorities together and strengthen each sector a shortage of public servants "-Said Kairuki
