The Government is expected to employ 6,000 secondary school teachers for the Mathematics and Science subjects by June 30, this year. Deputy Minister of State in the President’s Office (Regional Administration and Local Government) – Mr Joseph George Kakunda revealed the plan in the Parliament, Monday, as he was responding supplementary question asked by Mchinga MP, Hamid Bobali.
The deputy said, until December, last year, government had already employed 200 teachers of mentioned subjects. However, he added that, government has not stop Citizens from contributing for school development.
